Proportion is the trick behind the ACME Wylie Coffee Table: a thick top coffee table whose slab measures about 120 millimeters deep, which makes a small table look substantial. At only 30 inches wide and a foot off the floor it is a small coffee table in footprint but a heavy-looking one in form. It suits apartments with low, deep seating where a standard-height table would feel tall.

White high gloss over composite wood gives the slab a bright, reflective surface, and the thickness of the top is what you notice from across the room. The ACME Wylie Coffee Table has a companion Wylie end table with a thinner top, so you can repeat the look at two scales. As a white gloss coffee table it suits a Naples beach condo or a West Palm Beach apartment where the palette runs to whites and sand tones.
