Luxury Bar Stools and Counter Stools

Kitchen islands and home bars are where Miami families actually eat most meals, so the stools matter as much as the dining chairs. Lusso Furniture carries designer bar and counter stools from Caracole, Diamond Sofa, Bellona and the Lusso Collection, in leather, velvet, boucle and performance fabric, with metal and wood bases built for daily use.

Counter Height vs. Bar Height

Measure from the floor to the underside of your counter. For a standard 36-inch kitchen counter choose a counter stool with a 24 to 26 inch seat. For a 42-inch bar or raised island choose a bar stool with a 28 to 30 inch seat. Leave 10 to 12 inches between the seat and the counter for leg room, and allow 24 to 26 inches of width per stool so guests are not elbow to elbow.

Styles We Carry

Upholstered stools with low or full backs offer the most comfort for long dinners. Swivel stools on a metal base make it easy to turn toward the room. Backless stools tuck fully under the counter and keep an open kitchen looking clean. Finishes include brushed gold, champagne, matte black, chrome, walnut and white oak, so you can match the hardware on your cabinets or the base of your dining table.

Sets and Matching Pieces

Most stools are sold individually or in sets of two so you can order the exact number for your island. Pair them with a bar cart or wine cabinet, or carry the same fabric into your dining chairs for a coordinated open-plan space.
