Tall, narrow and plainly built, the ACME Vidalia Chest takes the rugged simplicity of the Vidalia bedroom group and stacks it vertically. A clean cuboid body rests on a wooden sled base, so this five drawer chest suits smaller bedrooms where floor space is limited but storage still matters.

The Vidalia collection from ACME uses a Rustic Gray Oak finish over wood, veneer and composite wood, and here it covers the whole case so the grain shows from every angle. Five storage drawers with metal bar pulls run on undermount center metal glides with half extension, English dovetail construction and veneer-lined interiors, plus a safety stop and manual close. Standing about 48" tall and 31" wide, the ACME Vidalia Chest fits between a window and a closet door without crowding either. Picture this gray oak chest of drawers in a Doral townhouse bedroom with a low platform bed, where its tall bedroom chest profile balances the dresser.
