Carved scrollwork and a leaf crown motif make the ACME Versailles TV Stand the kind of traditional tv console that treats a television as something to frame rather than hide. Its defining idea is ornament, which suits a living room already furnished with carved wood and formal fabrics.
Three doors conceal one interior shelf for cable boxes and consoles, and a back panel with a pre-cut hole keeps cords out of sight. The wooden case frame carries wood veneers, while the molding and crown motif are poly resin with an antique hand brush finish, and ACME recommends a flat panel television up to seventy-two inches on top. The stand is offered in Antique Platinum, Bone White or Cherry Oak, so an antique platinum tv stand can sit with a bone white vanity from the same Versailles collection. In a West Palm Beach great room or a Hollywood townhouse, the ACME Versailles TV Stand reads as a carved media console first and a piece of electronics furniture second.
