Old European bedrooms inspired the ACME Versailles Bed, a traditional panel bed with an arched headboard crowned by scrolled molding and raised motifs. It is for a master suite that wants ceremony, and the low profile footboard keeps the room open in the king sizes.
The frame is aspen and poplar wood with poly-resin molding trim and legs, with an antique contrast finish that highlights the carving. ACME offers the Versailles in Queen, Eastern King and California King, in wood finishes of antique platinum, cherry oak and bone white, and in upholstered versions with vintage gray leatherette, two tone dark brown leatherette, ivory floral fabric or velvet. The upholstered models add padded headboards and footboards with button tufting and nailhead trim, so the same scrolled molding bed can be a wood piece or a button tufted headboard bed. A box spring is required. Part of ACME's Versailles collection with matching case pieces, the ACME Versailles Bed fits a Coral Gables estate or a West Palm Beach home.
