Grand in scale and unapologetically ornate, the ACME Vendome Sofa with 5 Pillows is a traditional nailhead sofa built for a formal living room. Its signature is the oversized scrolled trim, hand-brushed in a vintage antique pearl finish, that runs across the arched crown, down the front of the arms and along the base. It suits homeowners who want a seating piece that reads as a statement the moment guests walk in.

The upholstery is a champagne leatherette sofa cover in a solid pattern, with inside button tufting on the arched back and welt-trimmed box seat cushions over pocket coils and foam. The scrolled rolled arms carry molded detail, the legs are oversized scrolls to match, and the inner frame is solid wood and ply. Five pillows in contrasting shapes and patterns, each with removable covers, come with the piece, and it ships fully assembled rather than knock-down. The ACME Vendome Sofa with 5 Pillows belongs to ACME's Vendome collection, which also offers matching accent chairs to form a crescent seating group. In a Coral Gables home with high ceilings and a marble floor, it holds its own.
