Crown moulding, scrolled trims and ornate engravings give the ACME Vatican Chest its presence. Where many tall chests rely on a plain case, this one wraps the frame in scrolled floral carving that catches light from every angle. It suits a bedroom furnished in a classic, layered style.

The case is built from resin and composite wood and finished in a champagne silver tone that reads sleek rather than fussy. Each drawer is felt-lined, extends two-thirds of the way out on metal drawer glides, and closes itself with a safety stop included. The champagne silver chest belongs to ACME's Vatican bedroom collection, so it can be matched with the button-tufted Vatican bed and the rest of the casegoods. In a Doral home with pale walls and soft lighting, the ACME Vatican Chest adds the glitter the room was missing.
