Mixing traditional and contemporary cues, the ACME Varian II Side Chair is a Parsons chair with arms, a tall button-tufted back and a tight seat wrapped in dark navy velvet. The ring pull on the outside back is its signature flourish. It suits dining rooms that want a plush, hotel-style seat without a fully formal frame.

Low, sloped armrests are padded and edged with silver nailhead trim, the seat apron is padded as well, and the backrest is button tufted inside for a cushioned look. Seating foam is rated D18/20. Black wooden tapered legs ground this velvet dining chair, and the composite wood and poly resin frame comes from ACME's Varian II collection. Measuring about 22 inches wide and 41 inches tall, the ACME Varian II Side Chair fits around most rectangular tables, and as a navy velvet chair it brings color to a Brickell dining room without overwhelming it.
