Sixty inches of button tufted Burgundy Velvet over beveled mirrored legs make the ACME Varian Bench a piece that commands the foot of a bed. Crystal-like buttons dimple the padded seat, a padded apron wears a line of nailhead trim, and the tapered legs reflect the floor, so this tufted velvet bench suits a glam or transitional bedroom.

Varian is armless and backless with a seat at standard dining height, so it also works along a dining table or in an entry hall. The deep burgundy velvet bench reads as a jewel tone against gray, cream or white walls, while the mirror finish on the legs matches ACME's mirrored dressers and nightstands. Construction is wood and composite wood beneath the upholstery, with the mirrored panels applied to the tapered legs. A bedroom bench with mirrored legs like this one belongs at the end of a king bed in a Coral Gables primary suite, and the ACME Varian Bench is wide enough to hold tomorrow's outfit and a handbag side by side.
