Mirror inlay, sunburst motifs and crystal-like button tufting on dark navy velvet give the ACME Varian Bed a commanding presence that few queen beds can match. It is a mirrored panel bed for a bedroom that wants to feel sophisticated and a little dramatic, in a transitional style that still works with existing furniture.

The rectangular headboard and low profile footboard are both padded and wrapped in solid-pattern blue velvet, then framed with raised geometric trim and mirrored accents. Tapered legs are mirrored as well, so the bed seems to float above the floor at night. Construction is poplar wood, MDF and ply with a knock-down headboard for easier delivery through narrow hallways, and the ACME Varian Bed uses three slats with a box spring required. Offered in Queen, this navy velvet queen bed belongs to ACME's Varian collection. A button tufted upholstered bed in this shade looks right in a Brickell high-rise with city views, or against pale walls in a Coral Gables guest suite.
