A working surface built for real cooking, the ACME Urrur Kitchen Island tops a gray kitchen island cabinet with a thick stainless steel counter that shrugs off heat, knives and spills. The professional-grade top is the point of this piece, and it suits serious home cooks who want a stainless steel top island without a full kitchen remodel.

The stainless steel top is 50 mm thick, giving it a solid, commercial feel over the wood and composite wood body in a gray finish. Storage is generous for the footprint: three full-extension, felt-lined drawers ride on wooden side glides, and two doors open to a cabinet below for pots and small appliances. Two rods are included, handy for hanging towels. The ACME Urrur Kitchen Island ships as a set in two cartons. For a Hialeah family kitchen or a Fort Lauderdale rental where the owners cook every night, this kitchen island with storage adds both counter space and a place to put everything away.
