Warm wood over black metal is the simple formula behind the ACME Trolgar Accent Table, an industrial side table with two drawers and an open cubby in a compact square footprint. It suits renters and homeowners who need one piece to work as a nightstand, sofa table or reading-chair companion.

The body is particle board finished in Brown Oak for a warm grain look, and it sits on five-inch black metal legs that give the piece a raw, workshop feel. Two storage drawers run on side metal glides with three-quarter extension and open with metal bar pulls, while the open compartment is handy for a book, a tablet or a small basket. ACME's Trolgar collection leans minimalist, and the ACME Trolgar Accent Table keeps that restraint at roughly 23" square. As an accent table with drawers it keeps a Hialeah living room tidy, and as an oak and black nightstand it balances a dark headboard in a Doral bedroom.
