An antique gold frame sofa with acrylic diamond tufting is not for the shy, and the ACME Sorina Sofa is exactly that piece. The gilded outer frame wraps the whole silhouette and sets off the crystal-like tufted back, making it the choice for a formal living room where the furniture is meant to be noticed.

Velvet and patterned fabric share the upholstery, with a damask seat cushion that plays against the plainer back. Nailhead trim follows the edges, the inner frame is wood, and the moldings are resin finished in antique gold. The seat is full foam at D26 with a tight back and a loose cushion, and seven pillows arrive with the sofa to finish the look. Part of ACME's Sorina collection and its Lavish Traditional group, the ACME Sorina Sofa comes in this single velvet, fabric and antique gold combination. At ninety-nine inches wide and fifty-five inches tall it is a large piece, so give it a high-ceilinged room in Coral Gables or a formal salon in Naples where the gold can catch the light.
