Reserved for the head of the table, the ACME Sorina Arm Chair wraps a carved Antique Gold frame in leatherette and finishes the seams with nailhead trim. It is a formal dining arm chair for the host who has chosen the glass-topped Sorina dining table and wants the end seats to match its presence.

Wood, composite wood and resin form the frame, with the resin carrying the scrollwork that runs through the whole Sorina collection, and D25 foam fills the seat for a firmer, more supportive sit than a casual chair. The nailhead trim arm chair reads as upholstered furniture rather than a plain dining seat, which suits a room where dinners run long. At about thirty-one inches wide and thirty-eight inches tall, the ACME Sorina Arm Chair has the scale of a throne without crowding the side chairs. An antique gold dining chair of this kind belongs in a Coral Gables or Boca Raton dining room, where the clear glass tabletop lets the carved legs and frame stay in view throughout the meal.
