The ACME Sidonia Accent Chair is a gray velvet accent chair that sits between mid-century and today, with high shelter arms that wrap the sitter and a button tufted back. Its defining idea is comfort hidden inside a tailored shape: the seat combines down feather with high resilience foam over pocket coils on an 8-way hand-tied base, and it suits a reading corner or a living room that wants one chair worth settling into.

The upholstery is solid gray velvet with welt trim on the box seat cushion, and the tufting continues from the inside back across the inside of each arm. Nailhead trim runs along the front and top of the arms, while antique-finished wooden turned legs ground the piece. One square pillow in the same velvet is included, and the chair arrives assembled as part of ACME's Sidonia collection. A shelter arm chair with a down feather seat is an unusual combination at this scale. Facing a window in a Coral Gables sitting room, the ACME Sidonia Accent Chair becomes the spot where the Sunday paper gets read.
