Simple and well made, the ACME Selma Nightstand is a two drawer nightstand whose quiet design idea is the drawer construction itself: full extension side metal glides, dovetail joinery and a self-close action that many bedside tables at this scale skip. It suits a bedroom that values a clean silhouette over ornament.

The case is wooden case-good construction raised on short wood bracket legs about three inches high, finished in a deep tobacco finish that works with both light and dark bedding. The top drawer is felt lined to protect watches and jewelry, every drawer has a safety stop, and each front carries a single knob. There is no decorative trim, just straight lines and a warm brown tone, which is why this piece from ACME's Selma collection slips easily into a transitional room. In a Brickell condo bedroom the ACME Selma Nightstand fits beside a platform bed with room on top for a lamp and a phone charger, and the felt lined top drawer keeps small valuables out of sight.
