Low, wide and deliberately plain, the ACME Sampson Chair is an armless accent chair upholstered in beige fabric with a buttonless tufted tight back. The single idea behind it is a streamlined box seat cushion that sits like a lounge piece rather than a formal chair, which makes it a good match for minimalist living rooms, reading corners and bedrooms that need one more seat without visual clutter.

ACME builds the seat with a pocket coil seat core and a 5.5" thick box cushion finished with welt trim, so the cushion holds its shape and the edges stay crisp. The tight back is tufted without buttons, giving the beige fabric a soft, quilted surface. Slim metal legs lift the frame off the floor and keep the low profile from feeling heavy. Positioned beside a window in a Naples condo or at the foot of a bed in Coral Gables, the ACME Sampson Chair reads as a quiet, modern pause in the room.
