Finished entirely in black, the ACME Renske Side Chair Set of 2 is a mission style dining chair reduced to its essentials: a slatted backrest, a square wood seat and tapered legs. Armless and compact, the pair suits casual dining spaces, breakfast nooks and apartments where a chair has to tuck fully under the table.

Both seat and back are wood in a black finish, with the seat cut to a square shape at 18mm thick and the slats running vertically up the back in the mission tradition. The legs taper toward the floor, which lightens the look of the black wood dining chairs when several are lined up. ACME sells the Renske in sets of two, so the ACME Renske Side Chair Set of 2 arrives with both chairs in a single carton. Slatted back chairs like these pair well with a light oak or white table in a Doral townhouse kitchen, where the black frames add contrast without heaviness.
