Upholstered in a soft aperol beige chenille, the ACME Renee Bed is a chenille platform bed built for people who read, scroll or watch in bed. The idea is comfort at both ends: a padded headboard to lean into and a padded footboard that finishes the frame cleanly. It suits bedrooms with a minimalist or eclectic scheme, since the warm beige works as a quiet base.

The construction uses solid rubberwood, poplar wood and composite wood, with foam and polyester under the chenille. Fifteen slats carry the mattress, which eliminates the need for a box spring, and a metal middle leg with four plastic legs keeps the platform steady. No tools are required to put it together. The bed is part of ACME's Renee collection and comes in Full, Queen and Eastern King. In a Brickell apartment with a view, the ACME Renee Bed keeps the bedroom soft and low-key so the window does the decorating. As a padded upholstered bed in an easy-care fabric, it holds up to daily use without looking tired.
