Ornate and pierced carving wraps the high back of the ACME Ranita Sofa, a champagne carved sofa that treats the frame as jewelry. It is for a formal living room with glam leanings, and the seven included pillows layer pattern without any hunting for cushions.

ACME finishes the oversized scrolled carvings on the backrest in champagne, with nailhead trim following the edge, while the front arms, legs and base are poplar wood. The arms roll into shaped face posts above 11 inch wooden claw legs, and a tight back sits over a pocket coil seat with an 8 inch streamlined cushion trimmed in welt. The fabric is a solid with a floral inlay on the backrest and a contrast seat cushion, and the pillows have removable covers except the round ones. Part of ACME's Ranita collection, the ACME Ranita Sofa spans roughly 96 inches, so a pierced carving wingback sofa this size wants a Coral Gables living room or a Doral great room, where a sofa with 7 pillows can spread out.
