European antiques inspired the ACME Picardy Sofa with 8 Pillows, a crescent shape velvet sofa whose wingback curves around a floral center panel with striped velvet on the seat. Eight pillows ride along, so it suits a grand living room where the sofa is seen from every doorway.

The oversized scrolled molding and crown are poly-resin with a hand-applied antique contrast finish in antique platinum, running from the wingback down the rolled arms to the scalloped base. The backrest sides are button tufted, and the tight back sits over a pocket coil seat built on a solid wood and plywood frame with loose box cushions trimmed in welt. The contrast fabric pairs a floral pattern on the center back with stripes on the seat, and all eight pillows have removable covers. Part of ACME's Picardy collection, the ACME Picardy Sofa with 8 Pillows stretches about 113 inches, so this antique platinum sofa needs a Coral Gables formal room or a Naples great room, where a sofa with 8 pillows fills the space.
