European antiques are the reference point for the ACME Picardy Sofa with 5 Pillows, a butterscotch leatherette sofa with an arched, diamond tufted back and an oversized crown of raised scrolled trim. It arrives with five pillows in assorted shapes and suits a formal living room that leans toward the ornate.

The frame is finished in Antique Pearl with a gold brush over the backrest crown, the front of the armrests and the padded scrolled base, and nailhead trim outlines the upholstery. Rolled armrests end in scrolled fronts, and the sofa stands on oversized Queen Anne legs built with poly-resin moldings. Underneath, a solid wood and plywood frame carries a pocket coil seat with loose box cushions in welt trim, while the tight back keeps the diamond tufted back pattern crisp. The hand-applied antique pearl finish is what ACME highlights most, since it brings out the detail in the moldings. Part of ACME's Picardy collection, the ACME Picardy Sofa with 5 Pillows belongs in a Doral home with a double-height foyer and a taste for traditional carving. The pillow covers are removable.
