With its curved face and oversized scrolled base, the ACME Picardy Chest is a bow front chest that looks like a piece of estate furniture rather than a storage box. Five full-width drawers sit behind the bowed front, framed by raised scrolled trim, and the whole piece is designed for bedrooms that favor a classic traditional look with generous detail.

Each of the five drawers rides on side-mounted metal glides with three ball bearings and full extension, with English dovetail joints at the back and felt lining on every drawer bottom. Double metal knobs serve as hardware. The leg and base are cast in poly resin with an antique contrast finish, which lets the scrolled molding read clearly. The ACME Picardy Chest is offered in three versions: Antique Pearl, Honey Oak, or Antique Pearl with a contrasting Cherry Oak top. The antique pearl finish is the lightest of the group. In a Boca Raton primary bedroom, this five drawer chest holds its own beside the dresser.
