The ACME Nypho Writing Desk is a compact desk with top shelf and bottom shelf built in, giving a 32 inch workstation three usable levels. The raised shelf on the tabletop is the defining idea, a spot for a small plant, a speaker or office supplies that keeps the main surface clear. It suits small bedrooms, dorms and corners where a full office desk will not fit.

The panels are composite wood with paper veneer in an antique white and black finish, the only version offered, and the metal frame with V-shaped metal backing adds stability and a hint of industrial style. The desk top measures 32 by 18 inches, the top shelf is 32 by 6 inches, and the bottom shelf 32 by 12 inches, with all panels 15mm thick and an overall height of 35 inches. Tucked under a window in a Kendall guest room, the ACME Nypho Writing Desk gives a laptop and a reading lamp their own space.
