Behind a sofa, along a hallway or under a mirror, the ACME Niamey Sofa Table is a walnut console table with two open shelves stacked beneath a plain wooden top. Its design idea is restraint: straight legs, no apron and nothing to distract from what you set on it.
The top, legs and shelves are poplar wood with ash veneer over MDF, finished in Walnut, and both shelves are fixed so books, baskets and decorative pieces have a stable home. Because the table has no apron, the lines read cleanly from any angle, and the rectangular footprint keeps it shallow enough for a narrow entry. It arrives knocked down for assembly. ACME lists the Niamey under its traditional accent tables, and this open shelf sofa table does well in a Brickell apartment where a true entryway does not exist, or behind a sectional in a Boca Raton family room. The ACME Niamey Sofa Table also works as a traditional console table beneath a wall mirror.
