A tall rectangular case, five deep drawers and simple metal handles make the ACME Miquell Chest the kind of five drawer bedroom chest that disappears into a room and simply does its job. It is a sensible pick for a guest bedroom, a child's room or anyone who prefers a transitional look that will not date.

ACME offers the Miquell in two finishes, Oak and Natural, over a wood, veneer and composite wood case. Each drawer is joined with dovetail English fronts and backs, runs on Kenlin glides with three-quarter extension and includes a safety stop. The handles are plain metal bars, which read contemporary against the lighter Natural finish and warmer against the oak finish chest. The case stands on wooden block legs that leave about four inches of space underneath for cleaning. In a Hialeah family home this transitional chest of drawers would sit beside a matching nightstand, while in a Naples condo the Natural finish softens a white bedroom. The ACME Miquell Chest measures 32 inches wide and 44 inches tall.
