An arched, carved crown rising above a velvet back is the signature of the ACME Mehadi Accent Chair, a velvet accent chair that borrows from classic French seating and dresses it in glam finishes. It is meant for a formal living room, a bedroom corner or an entry where one chair has to make an impression.

Poplar wood forms the backrest, front armrests and base, carved with a curved scrolled trim and finished in walnut with a contrast gold-brush accent that highlights every curve; the carved walnut trim continues down to the Queen Anne legs. Solid velvet covers the back, arms and base, while the loose floral seat cushion and both included pillows wear a patterned fabric, and a two-tone welt trim ties the fabrics together. Underneath, a hardwood frame and pocket coils support the streamlined cushion, and the arms are rolled. The ACME Mehadi Accent Chair arrives fully assembled with a kidney pillow and a square pillow, both with removable covers. From ACME's Mehadi collection, it would add richness to a Coral Gables living room or a West Palm Beach sitting room with gilt mirrors.
