Two sheets of clear tempered glass floating on a hand-brushed metal frame make the ACME Lafty Coffee Table a light, open centerpiece that never crowds a room. It is a glass top coffee table for contemporary living rooms, especially those with a patterned rug worth seeing through the surface.

The frame is built from square metal legs joined by a top trim and a crossbar support, finished as a brushed white metal frame with warm hand-brushed accents in a gold and copper tone. The top and the lower shelf are 5mm clear tempered glass, left unbeveled for a crisp edge, and the top is fixed with no apron so the lines stay minimal. That tempered glass shelf sits about two inches off the floor, ideal for a stack of books or a few favorite objects. The ACME Lafty Coffee Table is part of ACME's Lafty collection and ships knocked down for simple assembly. A Miami Beach condo with white walls or a Doral townhouse with a light grey sectional would both suit it.
