Corduroy on a dining chair is unexpected, and that texture is what sets the ACME Kini Side Chair Set of 2 apart. The gray corduroy dining chairs sit on a black finish frame, and the ribbed fabric against the dark wood suits a dining room that leans modern but wants something softer than leather or plain linen.

Each chair is fully upholstered, so the seat and back are both padded in the same gray corduroy, with the black wood frame showing at the legs. The pair ships in one carton. The ACME Kini Side Chair Set of 2 is part of ACME's Kini collection, where the rectangular dining table carries a fixed top on a wooden base in the same black finish, so chairs and table match from the floor up. Black finish side chairs are easy to place: they ground a light room and disappear into a dark one. Upholstered dining chairs with this much texture also look right in a Tampa apartment with concrete floors and open shelving, where a little softness goes a long way.
