Compact enough to tuck beside an armrest, the ACME Joane End Table is a high gloss end table whose main design idea is weight: a nearly two-inch-thick top on a small, twenty-four-inch footprint, so the piece feels planted rather than spindly. It suits anyone who wants a side surface with real presence next to a sofa or reading chair.

The table is made from composite wood and finished in a light gray finish with a reflective high gloss surface that bounces daylight around a room. That fifty-millimeter top is the thickest in the Joane family, and the sixteen-inch height lands at a comfortable level for a lamp or a drink. The piece belongs to ACME's Joane collection and can be paired with the Joane coffee table in yellowish brown for a two-tone grouping. Picture the ACME Joane End Table in a Coral Gables family room, where the pale gloss lifts a space full of dark wood and leather. As a composite wood side table it is light enough to move when the layout changes.
