A steel backrest bent into a balloon shape is what sets the ACME Jakia Side Chair Set of 2 apart from the usual cafe seat. Each industrial metal chair pairs that open back with a round wood seat, and the pair suits small dining nooks, breakfast bars and loft style living rooms where floor space is tight.

The seat is wood in a Natural finish, set on a metal apron frame, and the legs are steel with a ring support near the floor for stability. All of the metal is powder coated in Black, giving the Natural and Black combination its two tone look, and the chairs arrive fully assembled, two to a carton. The Jakia collection from ACME takes its cues from industrial workshop seating. In a Brickell apartment or a Tampa bungalow kitchen, the ACME Jakia Side Chair Set of 2 slides under a small bistro table and leaves the room feeling open. The balloon back chair shape also reads well from behind.
