Pipe-fitting castings at every joint are what make the ACME Itzel Bookshelf read as an industrial pipe bookshelf rather than a plain metal rack. Four open tiers of antique oak sit inside a sandy gray steel frame, and the whole thing stands just over four feet tall. It suits lofts, studios and small offices where exposed structure is part of the look.

The frame is round steel tube with a powder coating in sandy gray, and each connection carries a hand-brushed industrial pipe casting that mimics plumbing hardware. There are no casters. The four fixed shelves are paper veneer over MDF in an antique oak finish, each about two feet wide, which suits paperbacks, records and plants. The open back lets wall colour through. This four tier open bookcase is one of ACME's bestsellers in the urban industrial category, and the ACME Itzel Bookshelf belongs to the Itzel collection. In a Doral loft or a Hollywood bungalow with exposed brick, this urban industrial shelving fits right in. Assembly is required.
