Birch veneer over a black nickel stand gives the ACME Isiah End Table a contemporary look that still warms up next to wood furniture. This square end table with shelf keeps a lamp up top and magazines below, and it suits living rooms and bedrooms where the finish needs to blend with existing wood tones.

The top is wood and MDF with a birch veneer top surface at 25mm, and the bottom shelf uses the same construction at 18mm, both carried on a metal stand in Black Nickel. The open design is part of ACME's Isiah occasional collection. Beside a sectional in a West Palm Beach family room, the ACME Isiah End Table gives the black nickel a chance to pick up light from a floor lamp while the veneer ties into a walnut media console. A black nickel side table of this size also works as a nightstand in a guest room, and the lower shelf keeps a phone charger or a stack of books within reach.
