Soft curves define the ACME Fordon Coffee Table, a French country coffee table whose scalloped tabletop edge reads like a hand-drawn line. It is the anchor piece of a small occasional collection, and it suits living rooms where slipcovered sofas and natural textures set a relaxed tone.

The Fordon is built from wood with a shaped top and apron resting on turned wood legs, with a full-width bottom shelf below for magazines, baskets or a stack of coffee-table books. The French antique white finish has a lightly aged look rather than a bright, glossy white, so it works with both creams and warm grays. Part of ACME's Fordon collection alongside a matching end table, the ACME Fordon Coffee Table measures about fifty inches long, enough to serve a full-size sofa. Picture it in a West Palm Beach sunroom with wicker chairs, or in a Naples living room where the antique white finish picks up the light from the lanai.
