Every edge of the ACME Ernestine Sofa is framed in curved poplar wood, crowned with a contrast acanthus leaf and finished with tassels at the base, which makes it a traditional sofa with pillows that reads as old-world rather than merely formal. It suits a large living room with the ceiling height to carry a 50" tall back.

The tan fabric sofa carries a same-tone floral pattern across a tight back and one long loose seat cushion, 7" thick, streamlined with welt trim and not reversible. Beneath it a wood frame holds pocket coil seating, and the curved arms rise to 26". Wooden bun legs in rubberwood, about 4" across, give the piece its planted stance, and seven pillows in contrast shapes and patterns come in the carton. ACME lists the Ernestine in its Velvet Bling Upholstery category as part of the Ernestine collection. A wood trim sofa of this scale suits a Naples estate home with a formal living room, and the ACME Ernestine Sofa holds its own against tall windows.
