One wide seat, wrapped in black top grain leather and floated on aluminum legs: the ACME Eilene Chair is the single-seat version of the Eilene group. It is a leather armchair for people who want a sofa-grade seat in a chair footprint, whether as a reading chair or as the third piece of a full suite.

Inside the 43-inch-wide frame, ACME uses wood for the inner structure, full foam for the body and feather down filled tight cushions for the back and seat, the same recipe as the Eilene sofa and loveseat. The aluminum legs ship knocked down and attach to raise the chair slightly off the floor. The oversized design means the ACME Eilene Chair reads as a lounge chair rather than a side chair, so give it room beside a window or across from a sofa. In a Doral home office or a Hollywood living room, an oversized accent chair in black leather works as a quiet anchor that does not compete with art or rugs.
