Half prep station, half gathering spot, the ACME Edina Counter Height Table works as an industrial kitchen island that doubles as a place to eat. It suits cooks in apartments and smaller homes who need more counter space and somewhere for friends to sit while dinner comes together.

The 35 mm thick surface has a butcher block style top in an Antique Oak tone, set on a Sandy Gray metal frame with composite wood shelving. A stemware rack hangs beneath one side, and five open compartments keep bowls, cookbooks and small appliances within reach. ACME lists the materials as composite wood and metal. The 59" length gives two or three people room to pull up stools along one side. As a counter height kitchen island at 36" tall, it lines up with standard kitchen counters, so it can extend an existing run of cabinets or stand alone in the middle of the room. In a Miami loft with exposed brick and concrete floors, the ACME Edina Counter Height Table fits the raw, workshop character of the space.
