Leather on the inside, riveted metal on the outside: the ACME Decapree Accent Chair is a top grain leather accent chair wrapped in a patchwork aluminum frame, and the contrast between the two is the whole idea. ACME aims it at a living room that wants one object to steal the spotlight, and it suits a loft, a study or a reading corner with an industrial lean.

Antique Slate top grain leather in a vintage pattern covers the bucket-shaped seat, while gray velvet adds a second texture, and nailhead trim marks the transition between upholstery and metal. The inside back is a tight cushion with horizontal tufting over a wood and plywood frame with full foam in the seat, and the inside of the flared armrests is padded. Outside, the back and arms are clad in patchwork aluminum. No pillow is included. In a Miami Design District apartment with polished concrete, the ACME Decapree Accent Chair would be the piece guests ask about first.
