Fully assembled and delivered with its own kidney pillow, the ACME Daesha Accent Chair is a French provincial chair with a rectangular back, sloped arms and carved antique gold molding traced in nailhead trim. The idea is old-world glamour in a compact seat, which suits a formal living room, a bedroom corner or a dressing area where one chair has to look like jewelry.

ACME covers the chair in a solid tan flannel upholstery, a soft, matte fabric that lets the gilded frame take the spotlight. The molding on the backrest, armrests and base is carved from poplar wood and finished in antique gold, as are the turned legs beneath the seat. Inside, a hardwood frame supports pocket coils under a streamlined tight seat and back. A single kidney pillow adds lumbar support. Part of ACME's Daesha collection, this piece brings a touch of Versailles to a Boca Raton sitting room, and the ACME Daesha Accent Chair holds its own beside velvet sofas and mirrored tables.
