Mass is the design statement of the ACME Charlene Coffee Table, a chunky coffee table whose gray gloss top measures roughly 150 millimeters thick, close to six inches of visual weight resting on a metal base. The contrast between the heavy slab and the slender support underneath is what makes the piece. It suits rooms with large sectionals that need a table with equal presence.

Gray high gloss over composite wood gives the slab its reflective finish, while the metal base coffee table structure lifts the top off the floor so it does not look like a plain block. Shipped as a set in two cartons, the ACME Charlene Coffee Table assembles into a 46-inch-wide surface that matches the Charlene end table, which carries a thinner 60 millimeter top in the same gray. In a Doral living room with charcoal seating it works as a gray high gloss coffee table that ties the palette together.
