Designed to stand behind a couch or along a hallway wall, the ACME Chafik Sofa Table adds a 47-inch-wide surface plus an open shelf below for books, baskets or framed photos. It is a narrow sofa table for homes where a full console would crowd the walkway.

Both the top and the fixed lower shelf are made of paper veneer over engineered board in Natural Oak, finished with a metal apron trim that frames the edge. The chrome sled base is formed from square metal tube and carries the shelf as an open compartment, so the whole piece stays airy from any angle. At 30 inches tall, it lines up with the back of most sofas. ACME groups this console table with shelf in the Chafik collection alongside a coffee table and an end table in the same oak and chrome finish. In a Kendall family room, the ACME Chafik Sofa Table can divide the seating area from the dining space while keeping the sightline open.
