Built from iron plate and styled after a cargo container, the ACME Cargo Writing Desk with Hutch is an industrial metal desk. Recessed container panels and a full-length container lock are the design idea, and the hutch on top gives a student or a home worker a place for books and a monitor.

The desk belongs to ACME's Industrial Metal Cargo collection and comes in two painted finishes, a crisp Red or a clean White, over an iron frame built on 40 by 40 millimeter tubing with a metal sled base. The hutch holds one open compartment with a fixed metal shelf, while the storage base has a single door that opens on two compartments divided by another metal shelf. A wood-lined drawer sits under the iron top. At 47 inches wide and 60 inches tall with the hutch, it fills a wall, which makes it a popular dorm room desk and a good fit for a teenager's bedroom in Doral. The ACME Cargo Writing Desk with Hutch ships knocked down for assembly, and the matching Cargo chest completes the shipping container desk look.
