An industrial accent chair with a frame styled after plumbing pipe, the ACME Brantley Accent Chair takes its cues from workshops and factory lofts. It suits renters and homeowners who like utilitarian design but still want a chair that is comfortable enough for an evening of reading.

The sturdy metal water pipe frame is finished in sandy gray, and the seat and back carry gray velvet cushions filled with memory foam at a D20 density, a combination that feels warm to the touch despite the hard-edged frame. The all-gray palette lets the chair sit between cool industrial elements and warmer wood tones without clashing. Part of ACME's Brantley collection, the ACME Brantley Accent Chair matches the Brantley bench and sofa table for a complete look. In a converted Doral warehouse apartment or a Miami studio with exposed brick, it reads as the kind of piece that was chosen rather than defaulted to.
