Sheets of aluminum laid as patchwork across the entire surface are what set the ACME Brancaster Writing Desk apart from a plain office table. The effect is a metal-clad, workshop-inspired piece that reads as an aluminum patchwork desk from every angle. It is made for a home office that wants industrial character instead of standard laminate.

Under the metal skin sits composite wood, and the desk arrives fully assembled. One drawer on the right side runs on side-bottom metal glides with full extension, is fully fabric lined, and closes itself softly; two open shelves hold books or a printer. The soft close drawer is a small touch that keeps the desk quiet in a shared space. Part of ACME's Brancaster collection, the ACME Brancaster Writing Desk is intended to pair with the Brancaster top grain leather accent chairs for a complete workstation. Nearly six feet wide, this industrial writing desk gives a Fort Lauderdale loft or a Hollywood home office a surface big enough for two monitors.
