Nearly five feet tall and dressed entirely in gold, the ACME Bernadette Chest is the vertical storage piece of ACME's Bernadette bedroom, an ornate drawer chest whose moldings and carvings reach from the crown to the feet. It suits a bedroom styled after the Rococo palaces of 18th century France, where more decoration is always the right answer.

Composite wood and resin make the dense relief work possible, and the gold finish unifies the many layers of ornamentation into one rich surface. Inside, each drawer is felt lined to protect clothing and jewelry, extends two thirds of its depth and rides on metal bottom glides. Those self-closing drawer glides pull the drawer shut with a nudge, a modern convenience hidden inside a very traditional exterior. Delivered fully assembled, the chest is ready to fill as soon as it is in place. In a Fort Lauderdale bedroom alongside the matching Bernadette nightstand and vanity stool, this gold bedroom chest becomes the tallest and most dramatic piece in the room, and the ACME Bernadette Chest looks the part.
