Side chairs usually play a supporting role, but the ACME Ariadne Side Chair Set of 2 refuses to fade into the background. Scroll legs wrapped in intricate scrollwork carry the frame, a small crown tops the back, and a row of crystal-like buttons adds sparkle, which makes these ornate dining side chairs a fit for anyone furnishing a formal dining room with a sense of occasion.

ACME finishes the wood frame in antique platinum and upholsters the seat in velvet over a three-inch foam cushion. The chairs arrive two per carton and are the armless companions to the Ariadne arm chairs, both designed around the Ariadne pedestal dining table. Around a dinner table in a Key Biscayne home or a Fort Lauderdale waterfront condo, the ACME Ariadne Side Chair Set of 2 brings a palace-inspired look that reads as glam rather than stuffy. These scroll leg side chairs are the velvet dining chairs to pick when the room already has a chandelier.
