Shiny simplicity is how ACME describes the ACME Amenia Writing Desk, and the crossing X base is where that simplicity shows. The open frame keeps the piece visually light while giving the top sturdy support, and metal corner brackets and drawer handles add small points of shine. It suits a home office, a dorm or a student bedroom that needs a tidy workspace.

Finished in Charcoal over wood and composite wood construction, this charcoal finish desk has a rectangular top with two storage drawers underneath for pens, chargers and paper. Each drawer rides on a center wooden glide with two-thirds extension. As an X base desk it sits well against a wall or floating in a room, since the sides look finished from every angle. The Amenia is part of ACME's Amenia collection within the Colorful Work Styles category. Picture this two drawer office desk under a window in a Naples guest room or a Coral Gables study, holding a laptop and a lamp. The ACME Amenia Writing Desk measures 42" wide.
