A coffee table you can put your feet on is the idea behind the ACME Aizen Cocktail Ottoman, which pairs a button tufted ottoman cushion with a slatted wood shelf underneath. It suits living rooms where one piece has to serve as footrest, extra seat and tray table without looking like a compromise.

The frame is wood and composite wood in an espresso finish, and the cushion on top is upholstered in beige fabric with a four-inch thickness that holds its shape. Below the cushion, the slatted tier shelf keeps throws, magazines and remote baskets off the floor. ACME's Aizen collection is built around this kind of flexible seating, and the ACME Aizen Cocktail Ottoman is sized to anchor a sectional. As a beige fabric ottoman it blends with sand and white tones in a Key Biscayne condo, and as an ottoman with shelf it earns its place in a Kendall family room where storage is always short.
